"Together we can...give pupils a physically active and healthy start to life."
Bio
I love teaching and can never see myself leaving Education. I am proud of the commitment I have shown to Mayflower and the families and community, having now taught here since we opened in 2013. I believe that forming strong, lasting relationships is very important. I have a passion for Physical Education and Physical Literacy and enjoying seeing pupils developing these skills from Nursery right through to Year 6.

Why Mayflower?
The energy and commitment of the staff and pupils keeps me going no matter what. The relationships I have formed and the ethos of the school make me feel safe but, at the same time, challenged every day.
What am I reading?
I will read anything. I can be absorbed in a book and not have a clue what is happening in the world around me. For me, total relaxation involves sitting down with my Kindle and escaping into a good book.
What am I researching?
I am currently interested into the research behind how pupils being physically active just before learning something improves cognitive ability and retention of facts and new learning.
