Jim Rutt | The Jim Rutt Show
Podcast
Intro
Q1: Jim, you are the creator of many things, including the mobile game network wars. I was going to try that game, but it was 99 pence to play. Can you describe to us how the game works and if you faced any challenges while making it?
Q2: You are a past Chairman of Santafe Institute. This is world renowned for being the world's leading research centre for complex systems in science. I don't really understand anything about adaptive systems. Can you explain what this is all about to us? We are only 11 years old, but very keen to learn more.
Q3: You have achieved many impressive things in your life. Were there any achievements that are particularly spectacular for you or that were more of a challenge than others?
Q4: What top tips would you give to someone like me who is trying to be successful in life?
Q5: Jim, we know that you have a podcast called the Jim Rutt show. We also have a podcast. Do you have any top tips for our podcast? It is amazing that you have joined us today! We would like to learn more about how you do your research on guests, and what are the dos and don'ts of podcasting? By the way, we would love a sponsor to help us keep going. Do you have any sponsors?
Q6: You have podcasts about so many different things. How do you choose what to podcast about?
Q7: We have listened to your podcast on self-driving cars. Do you really think these cars will ever exist? What about self-driving motorbikes, hoverboards, planes or even space rockets to take us beyond the moon? We like the Google Self-Driving Car - it looks like a bubble. Should taxi drivers be worried?
Q8: Hi Jim, you have inspired Mr. Sammels with your podcast. He says that you have a way to make the guests feel at ease but still manage to dig deep with great questions. He mentioned that you told him that you can tell instantly whether a podcast team have done their research. How do you go about planning for podcasts and what steps do you take to plan - produce and publish each podcast?
Q9: Do you have any guests who have particularly inspired you and why?
Q10: There are billions of people on our planet. Each person has an interesting story to tell. Do you have any guests or particular stories that you would like to link with and why?
Q11: We are a small but excited media team. We have made over 100 podcast already - what top tips could you give us to help us tell our story and reach more people - so that we can get more feedback?
Outro:
Well, Jim - that has been a fantastic podcast. We can't thank you enough for meeting with us - and all the way from the USA. We are inspired by podcast experts like you. Please do keep in touch with us, and if you have any exciting projects, we would love to get involved - and remember, 'Together we can...'
