Hi Lee. You have already spent time this morning reading with our wonderful Breakfast Club Reading Team. You seem to really enjoy this. We would like to thank you for everything you do for us, and we can't now wait to get started with this long overdue podcast. Let's get started!

 

Q1:

Lee, you are a valued member of Babcock, but you also love to read with our pupils. Why is this, and what would you say to someone else who might be thinking of volunteering at a School?

 

Q2: 

We have heard all about the fact that you are a Football Club Chairman. This sounds an exciting role and we wonder if you ever get your boots on and play? Could you tell us more about your role and why you run a football club?

 

Q3:

The UK has the British Values of, rule of law, democracy, tolerance and respect and individual liberty. Do you have any values that guide you in Babcock, and what is it that Babcock do?

 

Q4:

Babcock is a huge company that employs so many of our families. Can you even imagine what would happen if Babcock left Plymouth. How can we make sure that we are ready, after our time in Plymouth, to work at Babcock and make it even better?

 

Q5:

I read that you joined the Royal Navy after playing for Plymouth Argyle Academy. I am also aiming to play for an Academy. Do you have any tips on getting better at football ?

 

Q6:

You might just be the first podcast guest to have lunch with a member of the Royal Family. I can’t believe you had lunch with her majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Maybe you could ask one of the members of the Royal Family to have a podcast with us? How does it feel to be sitting right in front of the Queen of England and eating lunch? What goes through your mind and how did you manage to get invited to this?

 

Q7:

We recently found out that you provided disaster relief support in the Caribbean in 2005. You are even more of a hero than we thought. How does it feel to know that you helped many people recover from Hurricane Catrina?

 

Q8:

I am really interested with the fact that you had chased Pirates. My mum also works in the Navy and she also has captured Pirates. What can you tell us about your experience at sea? Don't worry - we understand if things are top secret!

 

Q9:

You have helped so many of our pupils learn to read. Are there any Authors that you would like us to meet and who inspires you to read more?
