Intro:

Hi Caroline, it is so lovely to welcome you back to Mayflower. You have travelled quite a way to be with us. Thank you so much. How was your journey to Plymouth, and what is making you curious in the art world today?

Q1: Let's get started. We wonder how art has changed since you were at school. what has changed and what has stayed the same?

Q2: We have interviewed so many artists. Each one has mentioned that they have been taken into art by a hero or a role model. Who were - or - are your role models and biggest artistic inspirations.

Q3: Here, at Mayflower, We all learn to draw. Is drawing at the heart of your art or do you see other parts of art as the core?

Q4: You create sculptures. Your hands are clearly worth millions of pounds to you. Do your ideas start with your hands or your head - or maybe even your heart?

Q5: What art projects are you working on right now and what is coming up next?

Q6: If you aren't making art - what do you do to stay creative and curious?

Q7: What top tips would you give us as young artists at Mayflower wanting to create learning that we will remember forever?

Q8: We have been learning about perspective and how to draw with this in mind. How do you tackle distance and perspective when you draw?

Q9: Do you think that artists see the world differently to other people? If so - what do they notice and how do they make sense of what they notice?

Q10: Can we work with you someday? If so, what could we create?

Q11: You worked at Plymouth University. What did you learn about art and artists?

Q12: Some say that all art is Maths. This statement has got me thinking - is this true? What do you think?

Q13: Are artists in Salcombe better than other artists? This might seem a silly question to ask, but living by the sea seems to be something that many artists decide to do when they get older. I wonder why the sea is such a important part of many artists?
