PPA Teacher | Mrs Easton
Together we can... develop a love of language learning.
Bio
I joined mayflower in 2017 and knew I wanted to work here from the moment I visited.
Mayflower is a place where you are encouraged to take risks and question what you do, striving to provide pupils with the high-quality education and push our teaching to be the best it can be. I work both as a class teacher and a PPA Teacher, having the privilege to teach children throughout the school.
I lead languages across the school and love seeing the excitement in children learning a new language. I have also made a link with Kidslingo Plymouth to provide an engaging French club.

Why Mayflower?
When I visited Mayflower the passion and knowledge the staff shared was inspiring and the vision for community links made it a place I wanted to work, and be a part of.
What I am reading
I have just finished 'Eye Can Write: A memoir of a child's silent soul emerging' by Jonathan Bryan. A powerful and thought-provoking memoir. I am now looking for my next book to dive into.
What am I Researching?
I am currently researching effective language pedagogy in the primary classroom and how to bring this into our teaching of our Ilanguages scheme at Mayflower.
