MCA Earlybirds Shine at the Plymouth Youth Awards

On the evening of Wednesday, June 19th, the MCA Earlybirds choir performed at the prestigious Plymouth Youth Awards, held at the Crowne Plaza, Plymouth. 

The Plymouth Youth Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions of young individuals in various fields. This year's event featured performances from several choirs, including the MCA Earlybirds, who captivated the audience with their musical talent. Over weeks of diligent rehearsals, the children honed their skills to present a flawless performance that left a lasting impression on attendees.

In the weeks leading up to the event, the MCA Earlybirds dedicated countless hours to perfecting their set. Their repertoire included three carefully chosen pieces: "Cover Me in Sunshine," "Somewhere Only We Know," and "When She Loved Me." Each song was selected to showcase the children's vocal abilities and emotional range, ensuring a diverse and engaging performance.

The evening of the Plymouth Youth Awards was met with anticipation and excitement. The Crowne Plaza's grand setting provided a spectacular backdrop for the event. The MCA Earlybirds' performance was part of a larger set that included the Male Voice Choir, Blokes Who Sing, and the newly formed youth male voice choir, City of Sons.
