Intro
Hi Peter, Hallo, Guten Tag, Bongiorno. It is wonderful to see you today. We would love to get to know about your tiny sculptures and you. Let's get started with this podcast now.
Q1
Peter, it is wonderful that you are with us here today. We study sculpture as part of our art club. You have inspired us to study your work. You make tiny sculptures. What has inspired you to carve and make tiny art?
Q2
You speak German. We think Italian too? It must be fantastic to speak languages using both new words and sculpture. Do you prefer to speak or to make ideas come to life?
Q3:
Recently, my best friend and I went to visit St Ives and the famous sculptor's house, Barbara Hepworth. https://barbarahepworth.org.uk/st-ives/
Have you studied Barbara Hepworth? If not, who are your favourite artists and why?
Q4:
My happy place is Cornwall - especially St Ives. I like visiting because I feel the sand on my feet and the sun on my skin. I love to get into the ocean. The sky always seems a different shade of blue. Do you have a happy place and, if so, how does it influence your work as an artist?
Q5:
We recently interviewed and met the world-famous artist, Jago. He is Italian, and my teammate has also visited his museum. Where could we see your artwork, and we hope one day we could fly and see you. What do you think about this?
Q6:
You live in the mountains. You walk every day. The video of where you live makes your space look spectacular. What was it like growing up in the mountains?
Q7:
What improvements have you noticed between your first and most recent pieces of art? Do you have any top tips for us young artists as we start our journey toward greatness?
Q8:
We have met two other artists who also want us to notice their feelings in their art. Do you find it straight forward sculpting feelings as well as sculpting amazing statues?
Q9:
I have seen some of your work. I see one sculpture of a girl looking into a mirror. I have been wondering whether you make two of the same sculpture or did you get a mirror and stick it on a wall?
Q10:
Peter, I absolutely love art. Do you, and is this your hobby? If it is, we should make a picture together! What about this then, eh?
