Intro:

Well, WOW! That's what we feel about being here with you today. What a gorgeous working space you have, and you have the best views of the city. We could even see the sea as we walked over to your offices. It must be lovely working in such a gorgeous space. Thank you for having us today. We can't wait to get started with the interview and learn all about your work. Let's get started. What's it like having little people with you today and is today a typical day at the office?

Q1: We haven't interviewed a company like yours before. Could you start by telling us what you do and why and what does it mean to be REC Accredited? We spotted on your website that this award is assigned to you.

Q2: How many people work for Teaching Personnel and are they all in Plymouth?

Q3: What is the best bit about your work, and where might it lead for you and your team?

Q4: Some people judge schools by how many great exam results the year 6 pupils achieve. How do you judge your company, and what does a good day look like?

Q5: Who inspires you in business, and how can having a role model help us to achieve our goals?

Q6: Are you allowed to keep messy desks at work? We have to keep our toolkits tidy every day. We wonder if it's the same for you at work? What is in your work toolkit?

Q7: What makes a great leader? What makes you want to stay working at Teaching Personnel and how many big bosses are there?

Q8: What would happen to schools if Teaching Personnel didn't exist?

Q9: What do the best schools do to make pupils ready for the world of work?

Q10: What advice do you give your supply teachers before they arrive at a school like ours?

Q11: What is your biggest hope and dream for schools and the education sector in general?

Q12: In school we learn that Fundamental British Values underpin what it is to be a citizen in a modern and diverse Great Britain, valuing our community and celebrating the diversity of the UK. These values are Democracy, Rule of Law, Respect and Tolerance, Individual Liberty. Do any of these values get promoted in the real world of work and, if so, how?

Q13: We guess that each one of your team has a talent that has meant that they have been hired here. We wonder - who is the cheekiest member of your team - the one who most likes playing pranks?

Q14: A.I. is a topic that many of our guests have talked about. How does A.I. play a role in your work, and what might it bring in the future?

Q15: You must handle so much personal information. Data - addresses - names - ages - dates of birth - bank details - how do you keep all this information safe and does technology make your work easier or more difficult to manage?

Q16: Technology is becoming huge in schools. Interactive White Boards, I-Pads, Wifi, Robots in IT etc. What is coming next for tech and its use in your business?

Outro:

Well, that is sadly the end of our podcast with you today. We hoe that we can come back and see you again someday. Perhaps we might even run this company or work with you when we get older? We wonder if A.I. will play a role in changing the way that your business, and our school, functions? You have made us think about how we make Mayflower even better, and we have really enjoyed coming to your office spaces. Thank you for having us. Please do keep sharing with us the very best teachers, and remember, 'Together we can...'
