Q: Filippo, it is with our greatest pleasure that we welcome you to Mayflower. This is our Made In Mayflower Media Podcast. You might just be our biggest artist yet. Thank you for agreeing to podcast with us, we know that you are 7 hours behind us over in Mexico. How are things with you today?
Q: Hi Filippo, thank you for being with us. It is a great honour to meet you. For you, what is the purpose of art?
Ciao Filippo, Grazie per essere qui con noi. E’ un veto onore incontrarti. Quale e’ per te lo scopo dell’Arte?
Q: Filippo, we have been researching you and your approach to making art. Your work on sensationalism has caught our eye. Your ideas interest us. Why do you use the word sensationalism to describe your approach to art?
Q: We count ourselves as a community school. We like working with our families to learn new things. Who inspired you to be an artist and why do you involve the community in your art?
Q: Ciao, we heard that you and some children painted the famous mural called, Sofia’s Mural. It is very colourful. How many children painted the mural? How did you choose who to work with?
Q: I have personally been inspired to be an artist since I was 4years old. I love experimenting with the different styles, for example, abstract art, animated art and others. Do you have a favourite style of art that you like to work with?
Q: Do you just paint celebrities or normal citizens as well? We noticed that you pained the great Jago. We have been following him and would really like to interview him as well.
Q: Ciao, I would like to ask you about the purpose of Sofia’s Mural. Can you tell us how it made you feel?
Q: Ciao, Do you have a favourite painting that inspires you?
Q: I have been learning about the techniques of stippling, cross hatching and other ways of making art. What techniques do you use when making your art?
Q: I heard that you speak Italian, Spanish and English. Which language is the trickiest to learn and is there anywhere in the world you would like to talk art?
Q: We notice that you like to make huge massive big art. Do you have a favourite and how big can you image going in the future? We would love one of your works of art on the side of our school!
Q: Creating the paintings must be extremely hard, so I would like to know, which painting the hardest to make?
Q: You make colourful paintings. They make us smile. Is there a difference between the colours you have spotted in your photos that you have taken Italy compared with when you paint in Mexico?
Q: Why did you choose to move to Mexico?

How important is it to surround yourself with people who inspire you?
Q: Adding on to my friend’s question, I would like to add, we all have different colours in our skins and our souls. I have darker skin than my best friend. I know that we are all beautiful. How do you see the colour behind our skin and choose the colours in your painting? Has anyone who you have painted ever been sad with your choice of colour?
