We welcomed Rudi Dallos, Tara Vassallo and Rebecca Stancer from Plymouth University into Mayflower Community Academy, to share with us 'SAFE With Schools' - an Autism Workshop designed for parents and carers of children with a diagnosis of Autism and the support staff that work with these children day to day.

The Safe With Schools project uses novel activities, established from systemic family therapy and incorporating attachment principles. SwiS includes play based activities that can be used at home or school, using materials such as modelling with playdough and drawing pictures. Tracking activities are also used to explore Autism-related difficulties.
