Pupil voice is hugely important to us all here at Mayflower. Our motto, 'Together we can...' includes working directly with pupils to shape our story as a community school.

To help pupils take a leading role in sharing their narrative, we have taken a story telling approach similar to that of leading media and creative teams. We have no interest in marketing our school for profit, but rather help pupils and staff to work in a dynamic manner and make sense of what they do, why they do it and what impact they are having both at school and in the wider world. 

Giving pupils and parents the opportunity to receive feedback from experts involves helping them to organise their learning. They publish their learning beyond their postcode.

Ultimately, we wish to help pupils in their quest to,

'...create learning you'll remember forever'

Our pupils have studied media teams such as, Red Bull Media House, Law Creative and Hiut Denim to create a structure where pupils can involve themselves in a range of creative roles that help develop their talents and interests.
