Extended Opportunities
Extending the Art offer
Art Extended Opportunities are plotted in a sequential and progressive manner. They add breadth and depth to key concepts that are taught across the curriculum. They also extend these concepts beyond the curriculum itself.
Extended Opportunities are mapped as:
1. Extension of core concepts. These are primarily focused on mark making, painting, drawing, printing, sculpture, digital, mixed media. These are organised as opportunities for pre-teaching or deepening and extending
2. Extension of curriculum knowledge through wider art experiences and tuition
3. Extension of the Primary Curriculum and linking into Secondary or Higher Education
4. Extension of exhibition opportunities linking experience to a wider variety of artists and audiences. These include a) in person b) online
